Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (F The Active Shooter Threat Instructor Training Program (ASTITP) is designed to qualify the student to be a field training agent or officer by providing them with high-quality training and instilling the analytical knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for the highest proficiency in this specialized field.
BJA Law Enforcement Training Database. The BJA Law Enforcement Training Database is a catalog of all federally funded and supported training available to state and local law enforcement officials. Each database listing includes the training provider, a course description, eligibility criteria, and contact information.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Bioterrorism Training and Education. CDC training resources related specifically to bioterrorism.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Radiation Emergency Training and Education. CDC training resources related specifically to radiation emergencies.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Training for Chemical Emergencies. CDC training resources related specifically to chemical emergencies.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Emergency Management Institute. Offers self-paced courses designed for people who have emergency management responsibilities and the general public.
FBI Academy. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Academy provides courses of study for U.S. and international law enforcement leaders that serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad.
Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Office of State and Local (OSL) offers training programs to state, local, campus, and tribal law enforcement agencies.
Florida Regional Community Policing Institute (RCPI). The Florida Regional Community Policing Institute (RCPI) provides progressive public safety training. Cutting edge topics include: planning and responding to WMD incidents, human trafficking, ethics and integrity, sexual predator/offender awareness, dealing with the mentally ill, and problem solving strategies in community policing.
G.R.E.A.T. Officer Training. Institute for Intergovernmental Research® (IIR) on behalf of the Gang Resistance Education And Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program. Comprehensive course that focuses on the structure and content of the G.R.E.A.T. curriculum and provides knowledge of current gang trends, while building the skills necessary to teach in a classroom setting.
International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators. The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators advances public safety for educational institutions by providing educational resources, advocacy and professional development.
National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO). The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) is a not-for-profit organization for school based law enforcement officers, school administrators, and school security/safety professionals working as partners to protect students, school faculty and staff and the schools they attend.
National Law Enforcement CBRNE Training Center. The National Law Enforcement CBRNE Training Center is a comprehensive center with the mission to train law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, public health and medical personnel, in an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to major emergencies, with a special emphasis on terrorism preparedness and response.
National Safe Place, School Resource Officers. The U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance has awarded a grant to National Safe Place in Louisville, KY to educate school-based law enforcement officers to recognize at-risk youth and provide information about Safe Place Services and other resources that are available to them for the referral of young people.
Respond! Training Courses. The advanced training courses teach the effective response to WMD and suicide bombing events involving explosives.
St. Petersburg College National Terrorism Preparedness Institute. NTPI provides extensive support to our Nation’s War on Terror. This support includes monthly nationwide, satellite television broadcasts on important training topics for emergency managers and responders; traditional classroom instruction; training support packages that include student and instructor guides, video, CD, DVD, and VHS products; mobile training teams; and web- and computer-based training products.
TEEX. Texas Engineering Extension Service: Public Safety and Training. TEEX offers the latest training techniques and technology to prepare law enforcement officers and private security personnel for the physical and mental challenges of public safety and security.
